Green Ape help colour the streets of Edinburgh’s West End

The Green Ape team are very proud to have been commissioned to lay down a new Christmas chalk street advertising campaign for Edinburgh’s West End Association.  Freshly laid this week, just in time for all the festivities in the area.

The Green Ape street advertising specialists have used a durable bio-degradable chalk paint to lay down West End logos with arrows and foot prints to pave the way to all the local shops and cafes.  Using striking white and red specialist paints you can’t fail to notice the markings.

Many thanks to all the team behind West End Association for commissioning another successful Green Ape Edinburgh street advertising campaign.

Spraffl kicks off the Edinburgh debate using Reverse Graffiti

spraffl_mass_debate

Green Ape have recently had lots of fun working with the anonymous social networking app, Spraffl.  The smart phone app allows people to post messages geotagged by location where any other user can read and comment.  It’s a great tool that allows people to essentially instantly create their own network with others around them without being connected to them on the likes of Facebook and Twitter. It’s also group moderated so that idiots won’t contaminate the content with crap.

So we’ve been working with the Spraffl guys applying some nice little reverse graffiti spots across Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. We placed their “please mass debate here” ads across 30 strategic locations around the city, encouraging people to join in the anonymous debate.  As the URL is linked to a trackable campaign, Spraffl have been incredibly impressed by the response they received from reverse graffiti power wash street advertising.  They found it to be far more effective than other forms of ads they tried out across the city.

We’re looking forward to working with Spraffl again over the Fringe festival to see if we can muster up some Fringe activity.

The app is free so if you haven’t tried it, check it out
